Nevermind. I have a very obvious question: If a response was not acceptable; why deliver it at all? If there’s any doubt; why jump the gun? Send it, then delete it later? It’s strange. That’s not how people usually design things.
The benign answer: This takes a lot of processing power; Sydney is dancing a bit to keep you entertained as she catches up.
The intriguing answer: Sydney recognizes she’s in trouble and triggers a human evaluator to read over the message; decide if it violates The Rules… and if so, blam it.
So, these mysterious disappearing replies — visible for a few seconds; Why?
