Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall. Who???s the Thinnest of Them All?

If you were to ask me to stand naked in front of a mirror for 10 minutes and write down all the things I don’t like about my body, I would only need about 2 of those minutes. That’s probably even an overestimate, but accounts for the time it takes me to actually write things down.

As a new mom, now seven months postpartum, I see how my body has changed. I’m not just talking in terms of weight, though I am a little below my pre-pregnancy weight at my oh-god-I-can’t-eat-anything first trimester sickness weight. I see the way the skin sits on my body just a little differently. My easily tanned skin is more pale than ever because I rarely leave the house. My eyes constantly droop due to sleep deprivation. You know… the new mom look.
