I have a confession to make: I am a plant-a-holic. Emerald, forest, fern, jade, lime, or olive. Climbing, hanging, or potted. Tiny, medium or large — I don’t care. I love them all. I’m not a green thumb, not even close. In fact, to my dismay, even artificial plants have wilted under my care. But I’ve always been obsessed with plants. Maybe it is their serenity and natural beauty that holds such power over me. Perhaps it is the fond memories of my mother gardening that they embrace in their vines. Or maybe it’s something else altogether. Whatever it is, I’m captured and I don’t foresee myself ever being freed from their spell.
