One of the first questions I get after introducing myself to someone has often been… “so what are you?”.
Honestly though, I’m pretty used to hearing all of these things so none of it really upsets me anymore. I find it amusing when people like to play the classic guess my race game where they blurt out tons of random races hoping they’ll guess my mix. To date, nobody has gotten it correct on the first try.
Something I love about being multiracial though is being able to fully immerse myself in two completely different cultures.
