I didn’t grow up thinking “I want to be a real estate agent.” I was urged into this industry when I kept asking questions about real estate investing. A friend suggested, as a method to save money in my real estate transactions, why not become your own agent? The thought never occurred to me if I’m being honest. I’m a marketer, not a sales person, or so I thought. However, it was the marketing elements of real estate that appealed to me and so I began the journey to learn more. I asked for recommendations for real estate schools and ultimately selected The CE Shop. I had a plan to finish the online training in three months, then work part-time in real estate to learn as much as I could. Once I took the test, the real work began.
