New girl in Techcouver

The familiarity I had living in Ontario was comparable to the experience I have with Virtual Machines. It felt like home, because it was home. Born and raised on the east side of Canada. A place characterized by frigid winters, Tim Horton’s coffee and wondrous waterfalls like Niagara Falls. Everything this simple yet beautiful province was known for — I felt no connection to.

I asked myself, what will be known for?

I had never asked myself this question before and as unsure as I was in that particular moment, the only thing I became certain of, was that I had to start looking — somewhere.
