A very interesting and underrated temple at Zhonghe district, New Taipei. It’s easy, and straightforward to get there from Nanshijiao MRT station (Orange line). Take exit 4, and you will see a bus stop. The one you want to get on is 895. The ride is about 10 minutes to Hongludi bus station, and costs NT$ 15. There are a few different entrances, but the one from the main road is the easiest to navigate. If you don’t like walking, taking a taxi from the bus station can take you to the top, but you still have to climb over 400 steps to the top.
There is a nice restaurant at the bottom, and vending machines and 7–11 at the top. A great place to spend the afternoon, even on a cloudy day, or watch the sunset when the weather is good.
