Immediately on entry visitors are met with this powerful digital sculpture by Yelaine Rodriguez. The conceptual artist’s work interrogates the history of African slavery and uses Afro-syncretic religions, here, in the form of an altar to Shango, the orisha of justice, dance, and thunder.
Stacked televisions surrounded by red textiles display Rodriguez’s custom made video pieces, together with those by artists biarritzzz and Taína Cruz.
