Laundry Bar in Fitzroy, Melbourne is a world renowned hip-hop brand and after 12 years of operating can boast to have hosted some of the greatest names in global and local hip-hop, names like Action Bronson, Childish Gambino, AJ Tracey, Dizzy Wright, DJ Quik, 360, Kerser, Wombat and Posseshot.
Recently I made my way to the venue to witness another legendary hip-hop name take the stage, the 90’s New York rap superstars Onyx.
Most well known for their 1993 hit ‘Slam’ (a song that almost everybody has drunk-danced to at some point in their life), the nearly 50 year old Queens MC’s were embarking on another global tour, with Laundry Bar to welcome them on the Melbourne leg of their tour.
