Applications open around June-September and remain open for 2–3 months before they start their review process. I applied through UK Indeed, without any referrals. Applications are open for different locations like Glasgow, Manchester, London, and Northampton, at different times, and you need to keep checking Indeed, almost once a week to keep track of the openings in the above-mentioned duration. I applied on 21st June with London as my first preference, but one can choose other locations too. Along with Barclays, I applied to many other companies from Indeed, and used to check once a week if there are any openings for SWE Intern roles.
