In May of this year, my two closest friends and I embarked on a ten-day trip to Greece. First, we spend five days in Athens, then we headed on to Paros. We had a wonderful time exploring Greek history and experiencing the famous Greek hospitality for ourselves.
We especially had a wonderful time watching the sunset over Athens each evening. Sunsets and travel are two of my favourite things in the world, so when I’m in a new city I try to make sure I’m always at a good viewpoint by the end of the golden hour. For us, that meant before 8:30 pm.
Here are a few of the viewpoints we enjoyed, and some extra recommendations for you if you have a trip to Athens planned in the future.
