It’s Never Too Late To Return To Work or School
Priceless interview advice and a story I hold close to my heart
In the article, Natalie gives great interview advice. One of which involved the ability to describe yourself using some of your own real-life stories.
“Don’t describe yourself with a list of adjectives. Use stories. Come up with two or three stories that provide a picture of who you are, ready to be used if you need them.” — from
’s article
Well, I am not going back to work or school right now, but the storytelling part did catch my attention. I shared with Natalie that I love telling stories.
I am naturally very enthusiastic and expressive. If I have to tell a sad story, I start crying. If I tell a funny story, you’ll have to focus on understanding me through my laughs. But I have gotten enough feedback to know that I am a decent storyteller.
And thanks to Natalie’s response to my comment encouraging me to write about storytelling, she inspired me to do just that.
